Guitar and Bass Effects

What type of power supply should I use?

Unless stated otherwise, all Norrland pedals use a 2.1mm center negative 9VDC adapter (standard Boss configuration).

Why can I not use a battery?

You can use a battery, just not inside the enclosure. We put large and complex circuits inside little enclosures, so there is no room for batteries. And it is better for the environment to not use batteries. If you really insist, we can provide you with a little interconnect to plug in the power jack of your pedal so you can use a 9V battery.

What is the input and what is the output?

All Norrland pedals have their inputs on the right-hand side and their outputs on the left-hand side.

Is my pedal covered by warranty?

Yes. All Norrland pedals have a 2-year non-transferrable warranty to be free from manufacturing defects. Due to the hand-built nature of our products colours, styles, and designs may vary. The finish may have naturally occurring flaws, which are not covered by warranty.

My pedal does not work. Can you fix it?

Yes. Our repair policy is as follows: contact us FIRST before returning anything. Via email we will give you some instructions to ensure the pedal is malfunctioning and is indeed in need of repair. If this is the case, you will get an RMA (Return to Manufacturer Authorisation) number and return instructions. We might request a small payment for return shipping and handling, depending on the warranty. Norrland reserves the right to either repair or replace your pedal with one of equivalent value, at our discretion.

Will you do custom work?

Depending upon your request, yes. Send us an email with your wishes and we will see what we can do for you. Possibilities range from different knobs, colours, pedal finishes to even entire circuits.

Where can I test Norrland pedals?

Have a look at our dealers page. There you will find locations where our pedals can be tested and bought.

Can you ship to my country?

We can ship to any country the post office lets us send packages to. So in most cases that should be a yes.
